The crazy transfer window, Leicester and Silva is one, children in Norway is another

DATE: 06.09.2017 - THE CUNNING FOX - NEWSDESK

To see Adrien Silva stopped because of 14 seconds, is of course strange, but the crazy transfer window have also stopped players down to the age of 13 to swop clubs because of this idiotic system

The transfer window is a problem and it makes this game more and more idiotic. The window is meant to be one that shall stop players from moving all the time during a season, and keep other clubs from disturbing your players.

The intentions are good, but something must be done with this window as long as the clubs involved and the player himself is happy with the deal and can't see any worries and have agreed, then the move should be given a clearance.

This is very simple and it's no problem. The Silva situation is one idiotic, since the player and both clubs are good, why should anyone stop a move, and keep the player away from playing for a half a year, only fools and no horses would decide on that.

There are a number of episodes to report regarding the stupid transfer window rule and one grim example is from the Norwegian NFF, who stopped children from the age of 12 to play games for half a year, since their transfer was confirmed a few days after the transfer window closed.

It feels strange that children and youth players moving clubs should be part of such a crazy system, and not be allowed to change clubs whenever they feel it is right, as long as the clubs are ok with it.

There are crazy examples in all counties of Norway with well documented conflicts in Vestfold and Hordaland. One was with a player who left a club who falled and had no players left to continue playing, and the other one was with a boy moving from Sweden.

Both players had to wait to the next season to play, despite getting the green light from the clubs involved.

The situation is the total opposite if one of the clubs involved are reluctant to the move. Then no transfer should appear.

But in the world of "good intentions" there can be unbelievable results, and people without the knowledge of "common sense" makes decissions.
