City forward in demand, West Ham, Everton and Newcastle reports

According to a number of UK tabloids this morning, City forward
Islam Slimani is a target for several number of Premier League
clubs, with West Ham, Everton and Newcastle reported among those

transfer signing of Leicester City when he arrived from Sporting
Lisbon last summer. He was a totally different player to Shinji
Okazaki and Jame Vardy, but still Claudio Ranieri decided to make a
move for the Algerian international.
A strong top forward with an eye for a goal, but last season he
struggled to cement a place in the starting line-up and by many
described as a key reason for the fall in form under Claudio
Ranieri, which made the owners decide to sack him.
Slimani has not settled in at Leicester as well as he would have
hoped and a move away could be something to consider. The problem in
this is that he will not be sold for "petty cash", and to see a club
ready to pay the same as City did, looks a bit unreal.
Just before the transfer window closed in the
summer, Watford were reported to have been close to a move. To see
the likes of Newcastle, West Ham and Everton joining the chase,
makes it interesting and a possible move away could be happening.
Puel has not given any answers to Slimani's future, but a signal in
a negative way is of course that he selects other players for his
starting 11, giving Slimani a place on the bench.
The competition for places up front, is hard at Leicester.
Iheanacho, Ulloa, Slimani, Vardy and Okazaki are alle competing for
a starting position so it might be that one or two must be looking
for first team oppertunities elsewhere.
City will of course be interested in new players
as well and one signing is allready confirmed and we all will be
happy to see Adrien Silva playing, after being held back from his
move in August.
Hatem Ben-Arfa is one player that frequently turns up as a rumour of
joining. The Paris midfielder/winger is one that has worked well
with Puel before. His previous periods in the Premier League with
Hull and Newcastle are not described as great, and he might like
