Riyad Mahrez not the only Leicester City player with exit plans in

Claude Puel made a
number of hard decissions during the January transfer window, and he
has to do the same in the summer, trying to build a competetive
squad with happy faces
To see Andy King, Islam Slimani and Leo Ulloa
together with Ahmed Musa, joining Kapustka and Mendy in the group of
players out on loan, was not a big surprise and the "cleaning job"
had to be done, but you have to find the right blend.
All of these players will return to the club in the summer, and they
are all looking for game time, and that looks more or less
impossible. So a number of transfers will probably take place in the
summer and no surprise if all six of them will all be leaving.
Dragovic and Benalouane together with Robert Huth are other names
uncertain, and the fact that Puel now looks certain on the use of
Ben Chilwell, Fuchs looks a bit in limbo as well.
Daniel Amartey is also looking for more game time and is not happy
with his current situation. The Ghana international with 22 caps for
his country at the age of 23 is looking for more than a game
whenever Danny Simpson is out injuried.
Amartey who impressed heavilly in the African Nations Cup and was
named in the all star team of the tournament surely is a target for
other clubs and Stuttgart were reported to be close to a move in the
Andy King, who TCF rates highly, is one player I feel would be the
ideal squad member and his presence is far more important than Matty
James, who is one player Puel and also Shakespeare admires, yet to
see why in competition with other players.
Surely quality midfielders such as Adrien Silva and Vicente Iborra
are both looking for a more settled first team experience, than the
one they have at Leicester at the moment, both coming to Leicester
to play important roles, instead they are often on the bench.
Everyone expected Silva to be involved and be the player to replace
Danny Drinkwater, but so far James is the player used. To see the
former Sevilla captain Vicente Iborra not getting to play regularly
is also strange, he is quality through and through.
Kelechi Iheanacho will not either settle with the role he is playing
at the moment and Demarai Gray is also a demanding a place in the
team, and should be playing, but out of position. Gray is a pacy
flank midfielder not a centre forward, please stop the nonsence.
We just have to wait and see who will follow Mahrez out the door at
the club during the summer, but Puel needs to qucikly find his way
forward or else he could be in a very difficult situation in the
summer, with too many players uncertain about their first team
