Next season is soon here, and this summer will
be more hectic than ever. After a fantastic Premier League triumph two
seasons ago, a struggle in the previous one and a desert walk in this
one, it's time to step up
A bit of a shake up is needed and as the squad looks now there are still
lack of quality in certain areas to become a top six challenger, which
is possible, doing the right moves in the transfer market, both in and
The key is to balance the in's and out's as good as possible and get the
psychology correct. The average age is also to consider and to have a
strategy that will get you as high in the table as possible.
When you are out buying players, you need to ask yourself, will this
signing improve my team, if not, why use money on them. If you decide to
buy for the future, don't forget that the player need a path to progress
and that is not sitting on the bench.
A list of 10 players we feel will be great signings for Leicester, and a
documentation of why they are. All of them should be in reach and
possible signings for Leicester. A few of them are allready linked, look
up our hot, cool and cold update.
Adam Lallana, is a perfect player for
Leicester. 29 years of age, midfielder with a fantastic top level.
Attacking style, can operate in the middle, on either flank or just
behind the forward. Has struggled a bit with injuries and that could be
a worry and uncertainty, but affordable and on budget.
Watford winger Richarlison would be the
perfect replacement for Riyad Mahrez. Only 20 years of age and one
player that could be a great player from day one despite his young age.
Brazilian U.20 international.
Everton have not yet decided how to use Tom
Davies. One of the best young players in the Premier League and
also a bit simular to Adam Lallana. Can operate on the flank, central
midfield and also just behind the forward. A great player who would fit
the picture perfect.
Always worth to have a look at players at clubs who are on the rise, and
at Wolverhampton there are a number of great players. On loan defender
from FC Porto, Willy Boly is one who has
impressed. A great player with huge potential, 27 years of age,
previously with Auxerre.
One to consider is Marcus Rashford.
After Alexis Sanchez arrived at Old Trafford it looks more and more that
he will be on the fringe. A player with great pace and an England
international, would be fantastic either on the flank or together with
Jamie Vardy, but depends on choice of system.
Mohamed Elyounoussi is a player that has
performed with great confidence in the Champions League this season.
Leicester is a club linked with "Moi" over the past four transfer
windows, so he could finally make his move from Basel. At the moment the
best Norwegian international.
West Bromwich will be relegated and their right back
Alan Nyom is one to look at. Nyom has a
long career behind him and he is turning 30 in May. He would be a good
alternative right back and one that could be signed. Cameroon
international and previously with Granada and Watford.
Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson and
West Bromwich flank midfielder Matt Phillips
are other players who are more than good enough to be part of a
team in the Premier League. They are also at an age that makes them good
The last player we will like to mention in this list of candidates that
we feel could be a good fit is Southampton midfielder
James Ward-Prowse. The 23 year old
England international is a former pupil of Claude Puel and one great
