Tottenham dominaition will stop any hope of England World Cup glory

Gareth Southgate looks certain to make
vital mistakes in his planning for the World Cup. The team selected
against Nigeria is probably the one close to the starting line up v.
Tottenham had a majority of players in the starting line-up.
Eric Dier , Kieran Trippier
and Dele Alli all starting against
Nigeria. Danny Rose came on as sub.
They are all players from a club that is not winning anything in
The last time Tottenham won a league trophy is as far back as in
1961, the FA Cup was last won in 1991 and the EFL Cup back in 2008.
They are a big club, playing at Wembley, and should have done better
with the resources they have.
So why are they not winning anything, because they don't have the
players with a real x-factor or the abillity to perform above
expectation. When the going gets tough, really tough, they are not
in the game.
If you look at
and his achievements this season, scoring 20 goals in 37 games for
Leicester City, he should be in the starting line-up and with better
players around him than at club level, he will score the goals
needed to push England to glory.
Vardy is one performing above expectations and doing what people
believe is impossible, so Gareth Southgate is doing a fatal mistake
leaving him on the bench. Harry Kane should play and Vardy should be
alongside him up front.
Dele Alli is a good player, but he is not one winning the World Cup
for England, Vardy can. He has the x-factor and to leave him on the
bench is so totally wrong that you believe the manager of England
has no clue at all.
A player that I also miss in the England set up is
Troy Deeney, one
that can win a football game on his own. He would be player that
England miss, with a type of abillity that I really miss in this
The last time a player from Leicester City represented England in
the World Cup, they won.
Gordon Banks was
the one, being rated as one of the best in the World at the time,
and his presence was never in doubt.
Another son of Leicester,
Gary Lineker, is
to date the England player with most goals in the World Cup all
together scoring 10 in two World Cup's, being top scorer with 6 in
1986. Lineker is currently 8 in the top chart of all time World Cup
