Busy week coming up, predicted deals in and out at Leicester City

DATE: 02.08.2018  /  TCF - FILBERTWAY

We all could see what plan Claude Puel has after picking his team for the Valencia game. To look at the pattern and structure, makes you believe that a lot will happen before the transfer window close

Long term target Thorgan Hazard is again linked and hopefully Leicester City will be able to get his signature in time to able to be part of the squad travelling to Old Trafford. Hazard can be joined by fellow countryman Adnan Januzai.

Both players fits perfectly to the idea of Puel and how he would like City to perform going forward. City dominated the game v. Valencia and they had the ball more than one of the better teams in Europe.

Newly signed James Maddison can become one of the "greatest hits" in the Premier League this season, showing great abillity at such a young age and really enjoying this stage of the football schene.

Islam Slimani looks close to a move away, Everton are in the chase and they can give the Algerian international a contract that he would be able to accept and Leicester City will probably get around 20 million for their top transfer investment two seasons ago.

Names such as Craig Dawson and Danny Drinkwater are also heavilly linked. Dawson on a permanent deal and Drinkwater firstly a possible loan move. Would love to see "Drinky" back at Leicester City, a top class midfielder.

Leo Ulloa, Andy King, Bartosz Kapustka, Ahmed Musa and Nampalys Mendy are all in the hat for a move away. To see all of them gone by next week looks a bit unlikely, but they looks totally out of the picture and since the transfer window is open abroad, moves can also be happening later.

Exciting days in front and hopefully Demarai Gray, Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire all will be in contention when Leicester City face Manchester United at Old Trafford next friday.

Matty James, Jonny Evans and Nampalys Mendy are all out with injuries and cannot play next Friday. The job for Puel now is to get the squad in a shape that will see Leicester City sharper and better than ever before.

If Puel is lucky in his chase for Januzai and Hazard, he will be able to bring in quality and skills that City really needs in the project of Puel, we all hope he will complete those two deals.

We have a new fresh and updated hot, cool and cold list to view, and don't miss out on all the great interviews, documentaries and other updates from the tv channels "city-extra", "tcfone" and "retrotv".
