Leicester City, who are the most promising prospects at the moment

Leicester City is previously known for bringing forward great talent. A lot of players have in the past made their big step in football and getting full international debuts while at this football club.

At the moment talent are growing in the academy with Ben Chilwell of course one who are the star of those lately to break through, making his full England debut this season and following up with great games and now on four caps.

Raul Uche is a player that many are talking warmly about, and the young Spanish forward currently on the books of Leicester City has yet to make his first team debut but many believe that could happen this season.

Website, Transfer Tavern, believes that an introduction of the Spaniard could save Claude Puel millions of pounds if he decides to give Uche a chance in the first team. So far this season, Uche has scored twice in six appearances for the U.23’s.

At the age of 21 it’s time to step up or as Uche did last season, move out to gain experience. Uche spent last season at Real Betis and played 15 games for their reserves, scoring 4 goals. We just have to wait and see what will be the result of the season is over.

Another young Leicester City recruit, Alexandru Pascanu is another interesting player to follow. The Rumanian is a well respected international at U.20 and U.21 level, and was included in the full squad for their games v. Lithuania and Montenegro.

The left footed defender has been part of the Development team at Leicester City in the last three seasons and could be expected to take the step up and establish himself as a first team alternative in the left side.

Ben Chilwell is a certain first choice at the moment, with other options being Christian Fuchs and Callum Elder, but many believe that Pascanu could be in line to get a place in the first team squad if his progress continues.

Other players who are currently getting praise is of course Harvey Barnes, on loan at West Bromwich and the very promising young midfielder Callum Wright, who has already scored in the U.23’s. The 18 year old is one to look at and also believed to be close to a debut at first team level.
