Leicester managed to get everything out of a game away to Liverpool, the best team in the Premier League, and also getting under very early in the match, made it even more difficult, and that is for sure a great result, any day.

Puel played with a known system and a team that was well balanced against a Liverpool with three in the middle and three up front, using his most known formation, with four in the back, four in the midfield, one in between and Vardy alone on top.

Man Utd is a bit different and would be very surprised if Puel also this time decides to play without Hamza Choudhury, who has been remarkable when given the chance. Would like to see a three men midfield, with Choudhury, Ndidi and Mendy and using Albrighton and either Gray or Maddison wide.

This will balance out Man Utd perfectly, who will most certainly come with Matic and Herrera in the sitting midfield roles, and with Pogba in front of them. Lukaku, Rashford and Lingard will be the three up front.

Reports tells that Martial also could be back in contention, but we believe Lukaku will start. Solskjaer also got Mata and Sanchez as alternatives, but certainly we will see Lingard and Rashford from start.

We all remember that great 5-3 win four years ago, Jonny Evans playing for Man Utd, and of course Jamie Vardy in a key role scoring once and Leo Ulloa hitting the net twice, as an unused sub in that game, Riyad Mahrez.

Man Utd’s great run of wins ended at home to Burnley, not really impressing anyone, and they are a bit up and down at the moment Man Utd, with a great performance against Arsenal in the FA Cup as the one that stands out as the most solid under their new caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Tcf believe Leicester can win this game, against the 6th best team in the table, being able to win against Chelsea and Man City and a draw away to Liverpool, surely there are no one that would be surprised with three points, but again a very difficult opponent and one to meet with great respect.

Most players are fit and we certainly hope that we also will be able to see Youri Tielemans during the game, coming in from the bench, but a strange loan move by City and one surprising, but we wish the Belgian international all the best if he makes his debut against a giant like Manchester United.

A number of players were either sold or send out on loan during the January transfer window, and hopefully Claude Puel have the players he feel best suited and can guide Leicester City to more great results againt the “bigger teams”.

Referee,
Mike Dean, not my favorite ref, but hopefully he will get things correctly

Last Meeting, 11 v. 11
Home: 23.12.17, 2-2, Draw, Premier League
Away: 10.08.18, 1-2, Defeat, Premier League

Best Bet,
Our prediction is a 2-1 win to Leicester

Predicted Leicester City line-up,
System: 4-5-1, Schmeichel – Pereira, Maguire, Evans, Chilwell – Ndidi, Mendy, Choudhury, Albrighton, Maddison – Vardy

Fun Fact,
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored in the 90th minute in the 2000 Man Utd 3-0 win at Filbert Street, Leicester were the current leaders in the Premier League at the time. Claude Puel was part of the coaching staff at Monaco when they faced Man Utd in the Champions League back in 1998, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored one of the goals in those two games, but it was Monaco that managed to win it in the end, reaching the semi’s.

In Both Camps,
A number of players have been signed by Leicester City from Manchester United, but cannot find a single player who have gone in the opposite direction. Brian Carey, Colin Gibson, Danny Drinkwater, Danny Simpson, Michael Keane, Jonny Evans, Ritchie De Laet, Matty James and Jesse Lingard are all players with a life in a blue and red shirt.

The big duel,
Maguire v. Rashford, believe this to be the one that will win the game for either side, both players are of great importance and the one winning this battle, will probably also have the upper hand with the result in the end
