Leicester City are heavily linked with Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. The Italian international is at the moment not a certainty in the first eleven as Marauzio Sarri are selecting other players.
Evening Standard reports about a current interest from Arsenal, and the recent appointment of Carlo Ancelotti at Everton could also see them in the chase.
Daniel Rugani is a 25 year old defender. He has played at full international level for Italy and has 7 full caps. He has a past from Empoli, the club he was signed from and also been loaned back. A total of 70 appearances for Juve since joining back in 2013, and so far this season only played once in Serie A.
Brendan Rodgers is according to his own words not really looking for much business to be done in January, but with the current lack of progress, a draw against Norwich City and losing away to Man City, not really in the game, and at the same time losing a 2-0 lead in the final minutes against Everton, might see him reconsider.
Leicester has also linked with another player on the fringe at Juventus, Turkish inernatioanl Merih Demiral. But he is a bit back in demand and looks as if he can compete at Juve and has been in the first team set up during December, so that move might be a bit up in the air and if Rugani is the one leaving, Demiral would certainly be staying.
So far all rumours are a bit soft. but of course as usual our list is well updated with the latest talk.
