No one believe Ben Chilwell will be playing for Leicester City next season, but still it is no confirmed move to announce. TCF feel that it’s just a matter of time before this transfer will be pushed over the line as new faces also could appear.
Reports about Ajax left back Nicolas Tagliafico joining is a rumour that has been out for a while, but there are doubts about the price tag and with both Christian Fuchs and Luke Thomas available to cover in the absence of Chilwell, it’s a doubt that Brendan Rodgers will splash out £35million to get the Argentinian international to sign.
Today Juan Jesus is mentioned as a more relevant target as the Brazilian international might be a better option with also ability to play in a three men back line, and also ability to fill the left back position in a four man defence. The fee will probably also be a bit lower as the 29 year, currently with Roma, are seeking a move rather than being a big money selling object.
There are still a lot of time before a transfer window shut and of course Brendan Rodgers will be monotoring his options with also Norwich City and N Ireland international Jamal Lewis mentioned as a possible option.
Ryan Nolan, currently with 3rd level Italian club Azerro, is said to be close to a move to Leicester City, and it could be that the highly rated youngster can be on the move to England and Leicestershire.

TCF believe that it will be strange if Brendan Rodgers would try to buy a new left back with both Christian Fuchs and Luke Thomas available to fill the role and therefor it’s more likely that he will try to find a left footed player who can operate in more than one position and be an alternative in especially a back three.
At the moment it looks as if two players can be heading out on either new loan spells or being sold. Rachid Ghezzal might be given a new season at Fiorentina who is also said to be interested in signing the Algerian international on a permanent deal. Islam Slimani is a target for French club Rennes, this is said to be loan option.
