A number of exits on the line as Leicester City see transfer target moving to other destination

Islam Slimani looks certain to join Rennes, as the move looks very much on, with a price of £7million being the fee to pay. Once a club record signing, Slimani (32) never managed to find his place and with only 35 league games in four years at King Power, he must be described as one of the major flops in the clubs history. This will strangely enough be a bit of step up as he will enter the Champions League next season.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is another player that could be on the way out, but not sold, just a season loan with Luton Town close to agreement. Dewsbury-Hall was also out on loan last season impressing during his time with Blackpool. He has also been a regular and key player for the U.23’s for a number of seasons and still classified as a “big asset”.

Strangely enough it looks as if Chelsea will win “the tug of war” with Manchester United regarding Ben Chilwell with a £50million move close to agreement. Leicester looks as if they will fill the gap with Ajax defender and Argentinian international Nicolas Tagliafico

Antonee Robinson earlier linked with Leicester City has completed a move to Fulham and will of course then not join. He was clearly seen as a possible replacement for Ben Chilwell, but the USA international will now be to find at Craven Cottage.

Rumours about William Carvalho, Odsonne Eduard and Vedat Muriqi has gone totally silent, the same has happened to the rumour about Luka Jovic and Ollie Watkins, but that doesn’t mean that the moves or no longer on, they are just not regarded “hot” in our list at this time.

But what is clearly certain is that there will be now moves for Adam Lallana (Brighton), Omar Elabdellaoui (Galatasaray), Kostas Tsimikas (Liverpool) and Antonee Robinson (Fulham) as they have completed moves to other destinations or are in the final of their moves completed.
