D-Day 2, Leicester City exits and possible late move coming in?

Leicester City have been busy on the last day of the Deadline Day 2, as clubs from lower leagues in England can do business either in or out. Premier League clubs are not allowed to make moves to each other, so players will have to move upstairs or downstairs.

Matty James has joined Barnsley and it must a breath of fresh air for the midfielder who has been struggling heavy with injuries in the past seasons, but this could set his career on a push again, at his best he is a player that can be among the best in a Championship side, and he has been at Oakwell Stadium before, representing Barnsley in 2017, playing 18 league games on loan.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is also set for a loan move, joining Luton Town for the rest of the season. Still not 100% trusted by Brendan Rodgers to be a Premier League player and in that way better to get a season on loan at Championship level, looks as a good match between club and player. Dewsbury-Hall had a successful loan move at Blackpool last season.

It’s also close for Filip Benkovic who is likely to join Cardiff City, and that also looks as a move that will be completed before the deadline and hopefully give the Croat a lot of playing time and again benefit every party. Benkovic has earlier had a great loan spell with Celtic and also represented Bristol City and Dinamo Zagreb as a player.

Mitch Clark has also departed and joined Port Vale for a second loan spell at Vale Park, so good to see a number of Leicester City players getting game time in the EFL and hopefully gain vital experience in their job to develop further. Josh Knight and Darnell Johnson are also loaned out to Wycombe Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

Not much to report about a player coming in with previous linked central defender Joe Rodon set to join Tottenham Hotspur from Swansea City. Noel Cantwell also linked with Leicester City is more likely to join Leeds United or stay put at Norwich City and help his club back to Premier League.

West Ham United looks close to agree a deal with Brentford for Said Benrahma who has earlier been linked with Leicester City, but with the addition of Cenghiz Under that looks a lost case for Leicester City.

Former fox Ryan Bennett has decided to join Swansea City and the 30 year old will now be the player who looks certain to replace Joe Rodon in the defense at Liberty Stadium.

So could Leicester City join the race for one or two more recruits just before the window shot, not likely at the moment, and we believe that the moves listed above is what will be happening, nothing else, nothing more
