There are still a few weeks left of the current season with a lot in the hat to fight for, but it’s also time to look at options for next season as players and management prepare for what comes next.

Eldin Jakupovic is one we believe will leave with his contract expiring in July. Daniel Iversen is on a long term deal at the club and is likely to be the number three choice after a number of loan deals in recent seasons, playing at Preston North End at the moment. You also have the Polish youngster Jakub Stolarczyk who is in progress and an alternative.
Timothy Castagne, James Justin, Wesley Fofana and Jonny Evans all looks certain to stay on and are all on long term contracts. A bit uncertainty surrounding Caglar Soyuncu as he is a target for Liverpool, but they have to pay a fee around £60million to get their hands on the highly rated Turkey defender. Josh Knight and Darnel Johnson are both out on loan and their future is a bit uncertain. The same to be said about Filip Benkovic, currently with Leuven in Belgium. Daniel Amartey looks as he will stay on, at least for the new season. Christian Fuchs could be signing a new one year deal, while Wes Morgan will retire with Luke Thomas also carrying on.

Latest news are that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could be seeking another year on loan in Championship, and preferably playing on at Luton Town. Hamza Choudhury could be leaving, with Dennis Praet and Nampalys Mendy both staying on. Kamal Sowah is ready to return to the club, but still would be a bit down the pecking order, Sidnei Tavares is another player that we hope will stay on, even with Barcelona said to looking at the talent. Then to see one new player added would probably be an option.
Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho, Harvey Barnes, Ayoze Perez and Marc Albrighton all looks as if they will continue. Chengiz Under is almost certain to return to Roma, with his loan spell not really working out at Leicester City. There could be space for one new forward as Brendan Rodgers prepare for next season, but unlikely to splash out much cash in that are with good options available.
