Philippe Coutinho was an unused sub v. Juventus, in a game that marks the start of a new life after Messi, and to do that with a 3-0 win and picking up the Joan Gumper Trophy for the 44th time is a grand opener of such an event.

With these two happenings at Barca, Leicester has seen their name being drawn towards other players. Southampton defender Jannik Vestergaard is a name that is seen, with the Dane also earlier linked with Leicester.
Jesse Lingard is a name linked with a number of clubs and the England international looks certain to at least leave Old Trafford on loan, with so many offensive options to OGS disposal he will most certainly overlook Lingard among his candidates to play regular first team football.Embed from Getty Images
We could this weekend see that the two Inter players Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic were linked with Leicester, but it looks unlikely to see that Inter would let two such important players just leave close to the season opener in Serie A.
