Leicester do have a free weekend of games, but not all players of course, many of them out on international duty. Denmark will today be up against Feroe Island and play Scotland on Monday. Kasper Schmeichel and Jannik Vestergaard are both in the squad and with the World Cup allready reached of course imporant to make a good finish of the qualification games.
Dennis Praet and Timothy Castagne are both part of the Belgian squad for their games vs. Estonia and Wales. Praet is currently on loan at Torino and Castagne very much part of the first team set up at present. Both players are likely to be involved. Wales will play Belarus and Belgium with Danny Ward in the squad and their number one.
Jonny Evans is included in the Northern Ireland squad that will take on Italy and Lithuania. Caglar Soyuncu is in the Turkey squad for their two games vs. Gibraltar and Montenegro. Turkey are still fighting for a play-off spot and Soyuncu is a certainty in the team.
Ricardo Pereira was not included for Portugal for this round of games but if he continues to play regularly he will most certainly be part of the set up going to the World Cup next year. Portugal looks certain to go through.
Belgium also have a grand chance to push for for the finals as they top their group with all three Leicster players almost certain to be involved as they are steady members of the squad with Tielemans withdrawn for this event due to his injury but a certainty in the team for the World Cup next year.
Denmark are through to the World Cup with their strike of wins and both Daniel Iversen and Jannik Vestergaard looks certain to be involved. Daniel Iversen out on loan at Preston could be in with a chance to get a spot if injury strikes for others.
England also looks certain to book their tickets for the World Cup but at this moment no Leicester players are involved with James Maddison and Harvey Barnes possible candidates when the tournament will be held next year.Embed from Getty Images
Daniel Amartey played yesterday for Ghana in their 1-1 draw vs. Etiopia. On Sunday Zambia will be up against Mauritania and their top player is Patson Daka. Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi are both expected to be in action when Nigeria tomorrow play against Liberia.
Nampalys Mendy came on in Senegal’s 1-1 draw vs. Togo.
