Chris Wood made a move from Burnley to Newcastle during the January transfer window and his fee had risen from a modest £2,5million when leaving Leicester to £25million arriving at St. James Park. So far not scored in action for his new club, but still influencial as those five appearances has seen three wins and two draws.

Jeffrey Schlupp had to see defeat in his last appearance for Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea, but in his 20 appearances so far this season he has scored twice and been doing well under new manager Patrick Vieira.

Club board and Gary Lineker looks to have the same feeling about Brendan Rodgers and his future at Leicester

Despite a number of setbacks and little or no points in the bag lately Leicester looks to have made it clear they will continue life with Brendan Rodgers.

The win vs. Randers in Europa Conference League and a positive performance, despite being the losing side vs. Wolves, will for now be enough to see Brendan Rodgers in charge of this club going forward.

Wolves 2, Leicester 1, positives and negatives, player ratings and match report, Premier League fixture

The line up was almost as predicted with Harvey Barnes not part of the squad and a late call probably for Marc Albrighton who made the team and was in real the only player not really seen as an obvious starter.

Nice to see that Caglar Soyuncu was all clear to play and also seeing James Maddison on the bench and later coming on really pleasing as the two had to leave the field vs. Randers.
