Reports of the past did suggest that Leicester would look at possible solutions to their goalkeeper future.
Kasper Schmeichel is said to be in line for a new contract, but with him close to 40, other options might be in the air.
A possible departure of Schmeichel could see Ward or Iversen as potensial men to step in, but they are both more or less counted out as cemented first choice alternatives.
Iversen is back from his International campaign with Denmark, Ward will later take part as pre-season goes forward.
Wolves were linked with Ward last season and Iversen is a target for Sunderland. The Black Cats are back in tier two and of course would attract players as they are further looking to get back to top flight football.
Leicester did in the past produce great goalkeepers from the days of Gordon Banks and Peter Shilton on to a long and steady period with Mark Wallington. Ian Walker and Kasper Schmeichel has since been fantastic as the tradition of great goalkeeping has been present at this football club.
