Leicester confirmed a new game in their pre-season match campaign as a visit to Hull on Wednesday the 20th of July completes a good preperation plan in front of the Premier League opening vs. Brentford.
Jamie Vardy made his return early and looks sharp and ready for what is coming next. We have a full schedule of all games as Premier League clubs do have different turns and plans.
Leicester will see their full group of players return, but still a number of the international group makes later returns. Jannik Vestergaard is still at home but will soon be among Leicester players said to our special contact that he looks forward to a new and challenging season.
Leicester and King Power Stadium will be hosting this years Community Shield with the likes of Man City and Liverpool coming to town in the 30th of July. The game is moved from Wembley due to the Women Euro’s competition with the final being played at Wembley on the same date.
Here is a list in alphabetical order for all Premier League clubs and their opponents during pre-season, starting with Arsenal and finishing it all off with Wolves.
Arsenal will as Leicester play one of their pre-season games vs. Sevilla. Their schedule also include exciting games vs. Everton and Chelsea on a tour to US. A game vs. Nurnberg in Germany is their opening fixture taking place on the 8th of July.
Aston Villa will go the opposite global route as a tournament in Australia is on their list. Games vs. Leeds and Manchester United. Their opening fixture is against local opponent Walsall. Also on their pre-season plan is a game vs. Rennes as the Conference League opponent of Leicester will go head to head with Steven Gerrards picked eleven.
Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford are set to take on exciting opponents at home and abroad as the they will team up against Stuttgart, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Reading and Bristol City. Their total list of games are not all in yet.
Chelsea is flying out to the US and so far games vs. Arsenal, Charlotte FC and Club America are on their list of games. Crystal Palace will play Liverpool in Singapore and also on a tour to Australia taking on Man Utd and Leeds.
New and freshly promoted Fulham do have an exciting plan meeting Benfica, Nice and Villareal as their pre-season campaign is planned. Leeds will be playing locally against Blackpool, then in Australia playing the likes of Brisbane Roars as well as English opponents. Also on their list of exciting opponents are Cagliari who comes to Elland Road on the 31st of July.
Liverpool will meet Leipzig and Salzburg as Jurgen Klopp prepares. A game vs. Man Utd in Bangkok is also one among their planned fixtures. Man City has not yet reported their full list of games. Two of their fixtures are confirmed as they fly out to US for fixtures vs. Bayern Munich and Club America. They are also set, as seen above, to play in Leicester for their Community Shield game vs. Liverpool on the 30th of July.
Manchester United are on a busy schedule as they will be playing in the far east, travel to Norway and also be seen at home for their final fixture vs. Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford. Newcastle will face Benfica, Atalanta and Athletic Bilbao as their pre-season plan is prepared.
Nottingham Forest do also have a busy schedule as games vs. Hertha and Union Berlin are on as well as local fixtures against Coventry, Burton and Barnsley are on the panel. No games yet to be seen scheduled at City Ground. Forest fans hopefully will get one final fixture at home before their tricky Premier League return is on away to Newcastle on the opening day of the season.
Sevilla will play several English opponents this summer and will go head to head with Spurs for a game in Suwon South Korea. Antonio Contè and his Spurs team will also play Rangers and Roma.
Wolves, West Ham and Southampton do also have exciting pre-season schedules as their preperations are on. David Moyes and Hammers looks to do a lot “domestic” and has been in Scotland preparing before their opening pre-season fixture vs. Boreham Wood on the 12th of July. Former Leicester player Billy McKinlay is on their coaching staff and he looks hopeful as their campaign moves forward.
Wolves will go to Alicante for two games vs. Alaves and Besiktas. Southampton have planned games against Klagenfurt, Watford and Villareal.
