Leicester released a number of players after last season with Eldin Jakupovic being the only first team man among those. Vontae Daley-Campbell and Tyrese Shade had new clubs waiting as they decided on moves to Cardiff City (VDC) and Swindon Town (TS).

Reports now confirm that another of those on that released list has found himself a new club. Will Russ will next season be playing for Fleetwood Town. The former Wales U.19 international will push for a first team place as he makes his permanent move.

Jack Butterfill is still to decide his options but is believed to be close to a move to Barnsley, but nothing yet confirmed for the free agent. Butterfill is seen as a surprise exit with a top goalscoring ratio and the second highest goalscorer in the U.18 team.

Hopefully the young forward Butterfill will find a new and good alternative as he progress as a player and continue to push his limits as goals will certainly be scored for others in the future.
