Hamza Choudhury was in the line-up first half playing Notts County in the weekend. He has not been seen in any of the vidoes or pictures taken from the camp in Evian. George Hirst was back for pre-season training in Leicester, but not involved at this point, neither against Notts County or at this camp.
We all know that both players are in the rumour mill of possible exits and if those moves looks coming quickly it might not be any reason to be involved.
Injuries or other reasons for being absent could be there as we do see Ryan Bertrand is still not fully fit and probably also back in Leicester to work on his fitness. Kasper Schmeichel is another missing as he has been given more time to rest with a schedule topping the busy list.
TCF rates George Hirst highly and would have loved to see him as a player in the Leicester camp next season as his presence is very different from Daka, Vardy and Iheanacho giving the team something else. From his loan spells and especially with Portsmouth last seaon he really showed what a great goalscorer he can be. Ipswich, Barnsley and Portsmouth are all seen as front chasers regarding George Hirst. A move away to another club would certainly not surprise anyone. Hirst reported back to Leicester earlier on in the summer, but not seen in the photo’s or video’s from the Evian traning camp.
Hamza Choudhury had a lively and good turn out vs. Notts County but as we all know the competition in the midfield area, and also talk about new players coming in, might see him leave soon. He has been linked with West Bromwich, Everton and Middlesbrough among clubs looking at him.
We do just look at photo’s and video’s and it could be that Bertrand, Choudhury and Hirst all are there as no official list of players have been drawn up or printed anywere. But so far they are not seen.
We will follow pre-season closely but as you all know the closest you get is to look up official updates as they come out. So far not seen Choudhury or Hirst involved, but you never know, they might turn up late or just being in the bushes when pictures are taken.
