Brendan Rodgers looks to have his priorities correctly as he prepares his next two games in pre-season. One group is lining up vs. Derby with an early lunch kick-off as the other party will play Preston and Deepdale a couple of hours later.

A number of aspects to look at as the selection tells a story of what to expect going into the late hours of the transfer window as players seen in demand by others looks to be on show vs. Derby.

James Maddison showed his class vs. Hull and his season looks to be sensational. He had a fantastic end to last season and is pushing for more as his England hopes could be good moving fast forward to a certain World Cup. A few rumours regarding a possible Spurs relation looks as gossip without any proper source to follow, of course other clubs would fancy James Maddison in their team.

Youri Tielemans is in the squad facing Derby as his move to Arsenal still looks as a possible solution. Manchester United and Newcastle are also seen as clubs wanting the player that in a way shows why Leicester need to find a solution to situation occuring in a way not favorable.

Both squads are balanced in such a way that they will be a handfull for oppenents and of course give all players good practise getting in shape for what is coming next.

Jannik Vestergaard, Caglar Soyuncu, Luke Thomas and Timothy Castagne are all in the team selected for Derby and all are recently linked with other clubs. Vestergaard seen as a player wanted by Brentford, Luke Thomas in links with West Ham, Timothy Castagne as a target for Atletico Madrid. Soyuncu has been seen as a possible addition at Inter Milan.

Hamza Choudhury and Kelechi Iheanacho as well as Patson Daka are also in that Derby camp as we also have Praet, Mendy and Amartey among those. A 3-5-2 selection looks on as the team vs. Preston is likely to play 4-3-3 with that as an option.

Lovely to see the progression of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as he could take his next step this season and grow from a promising young home grown inclusion to one player taking that responsibility and presence the team desperately needs if Youri Tielemans makes his move out.

We have seen the priority of Brendan Rodgers as also new recruit Paul Appiah will travel with the group to Preston and possibly get a new game in a first team selection adding on from his one full appearance in pre-season vs. Notts County.
