Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers did not pick the obvious team, but started with both KDH and Youri Tielemans.
The system was more of a diamond in midfield than a straight three men as in pre-season.
Leicester came out positively and had the ball, played well and few did think of this game to end as a draw.
After a good start with a few chances and some nice touches Leicester took the lead in the 33rd minute from a Timothy Castagne header. A great assist from James Maddison as his corner kick did find the Belgian International. A shot from Youri Tielemans also hit the post, first half.
First half looked controlled and loads of positives to find, one was goalkeeper Danny Ward doing his job properly, another was KDH who is growing game by game.
2nd half had just started when KDH hammered in a shot from just outside the penalty box. What a fantastic finish and everyone was in heaven.
But when this 2-0 goal was scored Brentford manager Thomas Frank showed his skills. Firstly Brentford made a better push up the field and Leicester did not manage to solve this as Ivan Toney made his mark after 62 minutes. Leicester looked soft as the goal came from close range.
Leicester tried to push for more and Wesley Fofana hit the post with a nice header. Dispite not being able to find the net for a 3-1 goal it still looked controlled.
Brendan Rodgers made a brave move when he decided to replace KDH with Patson Daka. He also shuffled his system and decided to play Daniel Amartey to the left in the back and overlooked the fact that should have probably substituted more players to go more traditional as several other options were available from the bench.
Thomas Frank made his substitutions and one of rhem managerd to equal the score after 86 minutes as Leicester gave away a 2-0 lead. It was again soft as Amartey missed his man.
Leicester tried towards the end to find the net but it was not to be as the game finished 2-2.
