Ben Petty must be pleased with his team performance in Friday afternoons game in PL2 vs. West Ham. A good 3-1 did see the first win of the season being in the bag.
After a draw vs. Spurs and a loss vs. Man City this came as a good third game and with Callum Wright and George Hirst part of the team they looked a strong unit.
The two players with experience from league football at Championship and League One level. Both players had a good game, Hirst scoring two and Wright being dominant before taken off in the 65th minute.
Both players are currently wanted at other clubs, but they are under contract at Leicester and to keep the PL2 side in the top division is a major goal, but still both players might be eger to play first team football somewhere else as they both looks a bit away from getting that chance at Leicester.
Sammy Braybrooke and Tawanda Maswanhise were two other players showing great presence. Maswanhise scored the second goal after 25 minutes, with those two from Hirst coming in the 7th and 66th minute of the game.
Paul Appiah again showed class and the former Villa man looks as a great signing coming in on a free. We will see how his progress will mature and hopefully a full debut could happen in a cup game, we will see.
Great for the Development team to add up a win in their third game, hopefully more will come,
Leicester team; Odunze, Brunt, Appiah, Wormleighton, Braybrooke, Alves, Marcal-Madivadua, Hirst, Wright, Maswanhise, McAteer, Subs; Ewing, Fitzhugh, T. Pennant, K. Pennant
