After a more than thrilling game away to Stockport, Leicester were drawn in the 3rd round against Newport, another opponent from the 4th tier .
Stockport had not been impressive and in front of the game vs. Leicester sitting in 21st position of League 2. Newport are currently 19th with a point more than The Hatters.
We do believe that a game against a 4th tier team should be an easy affair at home and as we did see at Stockport, it might be more difficult away as you have no idea of how it all will affect you.
Both teams are professonal and you need to be carefull and not looking down at opponents below in the league system. But of course a positive draw looking at it with Leicester eyes.
Looking at the draw in full you have a number interesting games and Premier League clubs will be eliminated in this round as they are up against each other.
The game is not yet scheduled, and we do have some grim memories from the last clash vs. Newport. An FA Cup fixture back in January 2019, as we did see a typical banana skin being used cleverly as Newport came out winners 2-1.
