As we earlier predicted and for all parties to be happy this is now close to concrete. Chelsea will get their player, Leicester will get the fee they wanted and Fofana is gone as he wished for.
To have players going around not being 100% satisfied is not any good for anyone, just better to get the things sorted and move on.
This could lead to a signing or two before the transfer window shot, and loans could be sorted to free up space for a new player to come in. Leicester will not look at selling players far below value and instead agree to loan deals as money will be available to sign new faces.
To get this move over the line will be a great injection and hopefully again see some great deals done before the transfer window close.
Leicester desperately need one more flank man to really put quality into the forward line alongside Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes. If this player is sorted and moving in, then we could see loan deals or even more permanent deals be happening for either Kelechi Iheanacho or Ayoze Perez as the two would again be a bit down the pecking order. Both players are linked with other clubs.
Still plenty of work to be done in the category of getting players out, and we do believe that Youri Tielemans will be moving on, with Arsenal the most likely destination, but also Liverpool is said to be keen on the Belgian international.
