Recent news about Ayoze Perez and his eagerness to leave Leicester comes as no surprise. This will of course see Leicester adding a loss of £30million to a deal they agreed with Newcastle when Perez arrived.
Leicester also struggles to get any transfer fee close to value on Youri Tielemans as his contract runs out after this season. This could see a possible sale of James Maddison as the only solution to avoid a massive FFP issue.
Brendan Rodgers might be gone by the time Leicester are entering the January transfer window even with Leicester in a safe position. Being cash strapped and not able to invest and seeing his best player this season being sold, will of course be a huge dissappointment.
There are also other aspects to look at regarding transfers with grim negative outfall of possible moves for Jannik Vestergaard and Dennis Praet.
Youri Tielemans could be one to stay for the time being as a sale of James Maddison will see a fee of £75million gained with Tottenham and Newcastle the parties to join a race for his signature.
Leicester will be trying to do some sort of business in January, but again needs to troll their options in the summer, as the club are looking for huge losses again. Many major transfers in, has not been able to transform to a gain situation, and as this continues, the club will struggle with transfers.
Perez and Tielemans leaving on a free would be a loss of £75million, and to see some sort of major transfers in at Leicester over the next two transfer windows looks very unlikely.
Loan moves and possible free agent agreements might be the scenario the club are looking for to get players in, with quality needed to replace Perez, Maddison and later on, Tielemans.
