Danny Ward and Daniel Amartey, together with Wout Faes, Patson Daka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are all starting to grow into their roles as first team certainties. A new group of players can take Leicester to the next level.
Bouba Soumare has also grown durng the start of the season and shaping up in the absence of Wilfred Ndidi. Jamie Vardy will also be playing an important part going forward as this new set up starts to look like a massive machine.
James Maddison getting stronger and stronger. His capacity over 90 minutes has never been better. Youri Tielemans captaining the team makes it very difficult to see him leave in January. Harvey Barnes makes his special presence as well, of course not forgetting full backs Castagne and Justin who are strong and solid performers week in and week out.
The key for Brendan Rodgers is to give former fringe men, such as Daniel Amartey and Danny Ward, the confidence they need to step up even more. To bring back Jonny Evans into the line-up would be a difficult step, with the form Amartey shows at the moment.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is still miles away from a finished article, but using him correctly will give Leicester the same edge as they had with N’Golo Kantè. KDH has his heart outside the shirt and living a dream as his major goal in life was to establsh himself in this football team, and he looks to have done that.
The signing of Wout Faes looks more and more likely to become one of the best the club has ever done, with the former Reimes, Oostende and Anderlecht defender showing fantastic form in the heart of the Leicester defence.
The ultimate happening would be to see James Maddison making the cut on Thursday and being named in the England World Cup squad. His application vs. Everton makes it difficult for Gareth Southgate to leave him at home. This would also be a massive message to other Leicester players, including Youri Tielemans.
Youri Tielemans is standing still regarding his potential contract talk, but without any offers on the table, he needs to consider his future carefully. Tielemans at present is exciting to watch. His spectacular goals in the recent games vs. Everton and Wolves makes grand hope of more special things to come.
James Maddison and Youri Tielemans were both interviewed after the Everton game and their talk makes promise of something special to happen as the season goes forward. The two can bring more silverware to the table as we do believe that any move of the two will be on hold, at least to the end of the season.
Arsenal could have placed a bid for Youri last summer, but they never did. As a player you will be reluctant to sign for a club that in the past showed their real face. To see Youri Tielemans sign for Arsenal would be a massive surprise as other clubs will step up their interest. The World Cup will give Tielemans another chance to impress. Barcelona will be in this transfer battle and are expected to do a lot to win such a race.
