Tragic news to see James Justin again being drawn away from the game and a long wait will now be on. Justin scored a stunner vs. Newport and set the team on track, but had to see his day ending in tragedy with an injury that will see him out of action until the end of the season.
Luke Thomas will be an obvious replacement with few other alternatives as Leicester also have Ryan Bertrand and Ricardo Pereira on the sideline. This will of course see the club chasing a possible new player to add in the January transfer window.
Robin Gosens of Inter is a player said to be in the picture, and he has been for a while, but we believe that Spurs flank man Djed Spence is the ideal player to get in. He is a lively flank man and could operate well in four men defense to the left and as well as a wide man in a five men midfield.
Spence is currently not really one player Antonio Conte has an eye on as he has described Djed Spence as a Tottenham buy and not one he decided on. This has also seen Djed’s first team game time being limited.
Last season Djed Spence was loaned out to Forest from Middlesbrough and had a massive impact on the promotion push made at City Ground and it was expected to see him join permanantly but instead Spurs made him his asset.
Spence would be the ideal player for Brendan Rodgers and a possible loan would of course benefit both parties as Leicester probably could delay their idea of signign a permanent man, and if doing well on loan Spence might be eager to make his move if he knows Leicester will be a place to get regular first team football.
The England U.21 international has only been on the field three times in the Premier League this season and would be open for a challenge somewhere else.
Robin Gosens is a clever player and if Brendan Rodgers gets the German international on the hook, then of course it will be a good option, but still Spence is only 22 and Gosens 28, so a bit difference in age.
