Leicester could land two massive loan moves in January as Inter Milan and Man Utd could act and show interest in negotiations

Robin Gosens and Harry Maguire are both players linked with Leicester. Harry Maguire impressed during the World Cup, while Gosens had to see the tournament from his sofa, not picked by Flick and Germany.

Both players has in the past been seen linked to Leicester, but we do not believe this could turn out as permanent moves. Loans looks more likely and if that is possible it will be a massive lift for Leicester.

With great hope of keeping both Tielemans and Maddison for the remaining part of the season, Maguire and Gosens would be additions in difficult positions and both can cement starting positions in the Leicester team. Maguire in the central defense together with Wout Faes and Robin Gosens out to the left as Timothy Castagne could be the man on the right.

Man Utd will not be able to secure Maguire’s future at Old Trafford with new manager Erik ten Hag possibly looking for younger alternatives and other types of defensive skills. Maguire’s contract is also a massive problem as other clubs that potentially could take him on will not be able to bring that type of money on the table.

Loans is different as compensation payments could balance it all, we did see with Wayne Rooney, while at Everton and DC United, he was still being payed down on his contract with Man Utd. So there are models to work on to secure Maguire game time at the very highest level. He has during the World Cup showed skills that Leicester need and alongside Faes, it would be a perfect fit.

Robin Gosens has been linked with Leicester before and his name turns up as he is also a perfect fit. His style of play and experience would be fantastic for Brendan Rodgers at this point.

Players such as Ricardo Pereira, Ryan Bertrand and Jonny Evans are of course of great value and their top level is at a great range, but at this moment even with them in great form, strengthening in their areas are of great importance.

We do hope that Brendan Rodgers will be able to work out a plan to bring in quality players at this level, which also will be a great signal for Tielemans and Maddison to understand that this will not see Leicester resting on their laurels.
