Leicester confirm new deal as more transfers could happen in the next 48 hours, but still difficult to predict next move

Tetê completed his move to Leicester today, and as we said yesterday this move was certain to happen. Sadly this is just a short term deal lasting until the end of the season, hopefully with an option to extend.

Tetê will be the first ever player from Brazil to represent Leicester. He will be available for selection in the next game coming up, and of course great to get him in, though we would have hoped for a longer deal prepared.

As we reported yesterday Leicester have made contact with Torino to try to get the signing for Perr Schuurs over the line, with a possible swop, sending Dennis Praet in the opposite direction. Praet played last season on loan at Torino and was one that the Italians were keen to sign on a permanent deal, but the fee value was not in reach.

This time they could be lucky, but would have to send Perr Schuurs the other way. A move for Schuurs would probably stop any pursuit for Harry Souttar, who looks to be staying at Stoke, with The Potters trying to save themselves from relegation.

Jack Harrison could be in as well, with his contract situation at Leeds a bit in the air, and as we reported yesterday, not yet said to have started talks regarding extensions of his deal at Elland Road. Harrison (26) would be a good addition and a player suited for the style Brendan Rodgers likes to play. This looks like a move that could go through for the player that helped Leeds through to the next round of the FA Cup with his goal vs. Accrington Stanley.

Regarding moves out, Ayoze Perez is a definate one, but still confusion on where he will be heading, either Real Betis or Villareal. Jannik Vestergaard, Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu and Dennis Praet were all in the squad vs. Walsall, and they are all linked with moves in this January transfer window.

Regarding Morten Hjulmand it looks as this one is lot, with Southampton coming close to a deal and Leicester probably not coming close as they need to know the outcome of Tielemans and Praet before making a move for a new midfielder. Hjulmand would be a perfect replacement for both of them, but still he looks more like becoming a Saint.

Moves could happen in the next two days and new names could come out of the hat as Leicester are on to try to bring in at least a central defender, but could also be ready to act on another flank attacker and a central midfielder.

For all the latest hot, cool and cold rumours, you have them all.
