To get anything away vs. Croatia will be a bonus, and surely a 1-1 draw for Wales must be seen as a great result on the day. Former fox Andrej Kramaric scored the opening goal for Croatia.

Danny Ward was dropped by Brendan Rodgers vs. Brentford, but Rob Page selected Ward for this game as he had a good day at the office not to blame for the Kramaric goal.

Wales scored their equalizer late and in stoppage time of 2nd half as the 1-1 draw was secured. Ipswich forward and debutant Nathan Broadhead scored the equalizer, coming on in the 64th minute.

Wales will play Latvia at home in their next Euro qualfier taking place on the 28th of March. Danny Ward is expected to keep his place after a good performance tonight.

Chris Popov was in the Wales U.21 squad for the game vs. Scotland. The Leicester forward was not on the scoresheet as the Wales team hammered Scot Gemmill’s players in an impressive 3-0 win.
