A grand 2-0 win for Zambia over Lesotho tonight and both goals scored by Patson Daka. The first of the two games vs. Lesotho also ended in a win, 3-1 without any goals or assists coming from the Leicester forward.
Zambia coach and former Chelsea manager Avram Grant must be pleased with the results as his team goes through to the next fase of the the AFCON qualification.
The game took place in Johannesburg, South Africa. Daka’s goals were scored in the 14th and 69th minute.
The potential of Patson Daka is there, but we are still waiting for his big breakthrough at Premier League level, hopefully scoring goals on international duty as well picking up crucial wins will be helping him to achieve more, going forward.
From outside, Daka is seen as one of the top strikers of Europe, and few understand why Leicester are not getting the best out of him as the former striking partner of Erling Braut Haaland will most certainly be in demand if Brendan Rodgers cannot find the best use of him.
This has again made no secret of the potential of the striker and why clubs in European action most certainly will keep an eye on him over the summer.
