Brendan Rodgers made miracles at Leicester, selling off his best players, as massive transfer deals were taken place regarding Harry Maguire, Ben Chilwell and Wesley Fofana, and of course not to forget the departure of goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

He had a great run of results at Leicester before last season, and also this season showing glimps of what could be in for the patient spectator.

The fact that he was sacked at Leicester, should not be an issue when taking over at Spurs. Rodgers will be able to guide Tottenham to better places.

What he achieved at Leicester, could be, looking in a realistic perspective, close to sensational. Leicester previously winning the league title, described as a fairystory, a word never used for the results achieved by Brendan Rodgers.

What Tottenham needs at this point, makes Brendan Rodgers tick most boxes. He can if appointed, look forward from the demiss happening at Leicester this season. Leicester do also have difficulties in attracting the players that are needed to bring better results to the table.

The fact that several of the Leicester key players are at this point reluctant to sign new deals also made it difficult for Brendan Rodgers to act rationally. He was in real trapped in issuess far from easy to solve at Leicester by the manager alone.

We wish Brendan Rodgers all the best and would have hoped he had stayed. Spurs fans should also have in mind the game earlier in the year vs. Leicester as a clear example of what this man can achieve.

Tottenham looks a more suited team for Rodgers as his style of play is more based on posession and with quality players available, more of them at Spurs.
