Dean Smith made his Aston Villa PL promotion and survival success together with John Terry. Terry left Aston Villa after the 2020/21 season. He was not at Villa Park at the time when Smith had to leave his job, so to see Terry as part of this management trio together with Craig Shakespeare, looks a strong and good unit.

TCF was in no hope of anything today, but still it looks as if some momentum were made as a three men defense must be what Leicester can build on going forward. To see Caglar Soyuncu in the team again was also very pleasing.

We all know how John Terry used to sacrifice to bring points to the table for Chelsea, and we all know how “Cags” can be helped as you can see similarities in their type of play. Fantastic to see the Turkey international back in the team.

John Terry has not yet been given a chance to be the main man, but we believe if he can take Leicester to survival with Dean Smith and Craig Shakespeare, he could soon be given the chance he is looking for. Still very early days at Leicester, but certainly this looks as a positive.

John Terry was loved by Chelsea fans, but seldom given much credit from other places, as his name often has been seen with negative wibes in different situations.

Leicester got some type of momentum to build on from the Man City game, and with a few more weeks at the training ground we will hopefully get the full picture.

John Terry was also part of a very special visit this week, as he was spotted part of a group visiting the youngest players at the club, this academy visit is also important in the total picture of this massive battle for survival.

A great welcome to John Terry as we hope for his presence to be used in the best way possible by the clubs own defenders. He looks to have melted well in alongside Dean Smith and Craig Shakespeare, as the management group can build on the positives from the Man City game and pick points going forward.

A late challenge could have seen Leicester picking up a point, but Maddison and Iheanacho missed their fantastic chances, both being very influencial in the push, as we look forward to the next battles coming up.
