Sky Sports and BBC are both reporting on Harvey Barnes and his move to Newcastle as they believe it’s all done. A fee of £35million with add on’s, will see the England international taking his next step in the game and be part of a Champions League campaign next season.

Kelechi Iheanacho could be also close to leave Leicester, but still work to be done as a fee below £15million looks to be turned down. Iheanacho joined Leicester in 2017, and has since his arrival not really managed to establish himself as a certain first choice.

Amad Diallo is seen as a clear candidate to join Leicester from Man Utd. This is a loan decission, but still one that excites, with the Ivorian international showing great form at Sunderland in a similair deal last season.

There are still a number of changes to be completed before Leicester looks as new manager Enzo Maresca would like it to be. Despite rumours about Castagne and Praet also on the way out, the two are players seen in the first team pre-season friendlies getting valuable minutes in front of other players, so the path is very unclear regarding the two Belgian internationals..

The quality of the Leicester squad is no near what it was last season, even if changes are done, it’s all a downsize, with the players coming in, all from a lower shelf of value.

We certainly hope and believe Enzo Maresca knows how he can structure a team “good enough” to get straight back up, anythin else would be seen as failure, but again Leicester in real do not a lot of new faces, the most important value is to keep players injury free and ready for action.
