We have seen Leicester wave goodbye to a number of players over the summer, with the transfers of Harvey Barnes (Newcastle) and James Maddison (Spurs) as the major once, as well as all the players released getting arrivals at new clubs.
Daniel Amartey was last confirmed, moving to Besiktas. Still no news about Nampalys Mendy and Ryan Bertrand as they are still searching for a new club.
Among our former foxes, Calvin Bassey looks to have moved to Fulham for a fee of €21million. He made a move to Ajax from Rangers last summer.
There are still rumours regarding moves for Harry Maguire, losing his captaincy at Man Utd, Riyad Mahrez looks to be on his way to Saudi Arabia and Al-Ahli, joining up with N’Golo Kantè, who has already done his move to Al-Ittihad. Kantè has earlier in the summer also purchased the Belgian third tier club Royal Excelsior Virton.
Tom Cleverley ended his time with Watford after last season, declearing his retirment from the game at the age of 33. Cleverley had a short loan spell at Leicester in the 2008/09 season, helping the club to promotion from League One. He returned to Man Utd, making his mark, being capped 13 times for England.
Richard Stearman ended his stay at Derby after last season, helping them to a 10th position in League One. The 35 year who left Leicester as far back as 2008, with spells at Wolves, Ipswich and Sheffield United among others, is not yet reported to have found his next destination in the game.
Nick Powell, who had a short loan spell at Leicester in 2014/15 has left Stoke and joined Stockport, Liam Moore, earlier reported back at Leicester for pre-season training with the development squad, are also on the market and a free agent looking for a new club, after his contract end at Reading.
Jeffrey Bruma will next season be playing for RKC Waljwik, after leaving Heerenveen. The former Dutch international spent time on loan at Leicester durng the 2010/11 season, from Chelsea. Callum Elder has left Hull to join Derby. The Australian will be a good addition for The Rams as they prepare for a promotion push from tier three. Darnell Johnson is fet to find a new club after a difficult spell at Fleetwood, only playing 3 league games over a period of two years. The former England U.20 international left Leicester in 2021 being on the brink of the first team, appearing in friendlies and having loan spells at Wigan, Hibernian and Wimbledon.
