James Maddison has shown great form since his move to Spurs and celebrating his first goal in Premier League in Saturdays game vs. Bournemouth, scoring 1-0 in the game that in the end became a convincing 2-0 win for his new club, and probably a great relief personally, as his backpass last season for Leicester against The Cherries ended in a terrible goal the opposite way.

Caglar Soyuncu was in the starting line-up when Atletico Madrid managed a 1-0 win in a friendly vs. Numancia. In the two prior games, both in La Liga, ending with a win and a draw, Souyncu came on as a sub.

Harvey Barnes and Youri Tielemans hopefully knows what life will look like going forward, both being seen on the fringe at new clubs Newcastle and Aston Villa, both coming on as subs this weekend, Barnes experiencing a horror in the game against Liverpool, giving away a 1-0 lead with one more player on the field, Tielemans contributing coming on late to seal a 3-1 win against Burnley.

Lewis Brunt joined Mansfield on loan earlier in the week and got his debut in the 3-2 win against Stockport, coming on as a sub, and hopefully the young defender will get a pleasant stay at Field Mill.

Harry Maguire was on the bench for Man Utd, but no involvement in the game. Jonny Evans was not in the squad as they in the end managed to turn the game into a 3-2 win.

Jeffrey Schlupp was in the starting line-up vs. Brentford, being subbed in the 71st minute as The Eagles managed a 1-1 draw away. Michael Keane came on as a sub for Everton in their 1-0 home defeat to Wolves.

Viktor Johansson was in goal for Rotherham in their 2-1 home defeat to Leicester, stilling waiting for their first win in this years Championship.

A poor result for Brendan Rodgers as his Celtic drew 0-0 at home to St. Johnstone. Calvin Bassey started for Fulham in their strong 2-2 draw vs. Arsenal.

Andrej Kramaric scored the winner for Hoffenheim in their 3-2 away win to Heidenheim. Tyrese Shade scored the final and sixth goal as Swindon defeated Crawley 6-0.
