Leicester managed to get the move of Tom Cannon from Everton over the line in the late hours of the transfer window, with the England U.21 allowed to leave Goodison Park for fee of £7million. Everton signing Beto from Udinese, made it possible for Cannon to leave on a permanent basis as his chances would have been limited at Everton with such a pivotal arrival. The move of Tom Cannon could be an opener for Patson Daka to join Fenerbahce.

Patson Daka said to be close to a possible AC Milan move, and later being announced as a late arrival at Bournemouth, but nothing happened. We do not know the reason for all the transfer chaos regarding Daka, but it could all have something to do with other transfers involving Leicester, Everton, Udinese and Fenerbahce. They are all in some way linked up and a Daka move to Fenerbahce could be the final move.

There are still a lot of European nations that has not yet closed their transfer windows. Turkey will close on the 15th of September, and with Fenerbahce now qualified for Europa Conference League, after comfortable wins over Dutch club Twente (H:5-1, A:1-0), they will most certainly be looking for more players to bring in, with a loan and option to buy, looking likely, and if Patson Daka is that player, no one would be surprised.

The fact that Patson Daka, earlier in the summer, was seen as a possible target for Fenerbahce, makes an interesting read. A few days back no one had seen the name Tom Cannon linked to Leicester, and with that move happening just minutes before the transfer window close in England, there are still plenty of time to get the move of Patson Daka in place, if Fenerbahce is the club waiting for him.

Brazilian defender Rodrigo Becaou has joined Fenerbahce from Udinese, Beto joined Everton from Udinese and Tom Cannon made his move late last night, joining Leicester from Everton. All transfers made with fees from £7million and upwards, as the final move in the package could be Patson Daka. Fenerbahce might be looking at a loan with a possible option to buy.

Udinese is a club owned by the same people who also have Watford and Grenada in their portfolio. The money gained, from sales of Becaou and Beto, are used on English club players such as Keinan Davis (Aston Villa), Martin Payero (Middlesbrough), Etienne Camara (Huddersfield) and Jordan Zemura (Bournemouth). This summer Udinese owners also brought five players in from Watford.

We do believe that a move for Daka to Fenerbahce looks on, because him staying at Leicester, at this point, makes little or no sense, with the arrival of Tom Cannon. Patson Daka must be desperate to get some sort of clearence from Leicester that he can be allowed to leave and with Fenerbahce being a top club in their domestic league as well as competing in Europe, and Leicester getting some sort of compensation, either in a loan package or a full move, we will hopefully get a result that all parties will be happy with. Daka will, if joining Fenerbahce, be playing alongside Fred and Edin Dzeko, both new arrivals this summer from Man Utd and Inter.

There are also talk about Patson Daka having a £5million clause in his contract, that when he reach 75 league appearances for Leicester a fee of £5million must be paid to RB Salzburg, with Daka on 74 appearances in total at this point, we will probably never see the Zambian international on the field for Leicester again.
