Leicester released eight players from the academy ranks a month or so ago. Arjan Raikhy, Brad Young, Ben Grist and Oli Ewing have all found themselves new clubs. This is also the case for Harvey Godsmark-Ford. The former Leicester scholar Godsmark-Ford has joined The New Saints FC from Oswestry.
The New Saints FC competes in the top tier of Welsh League and won it last season. They have also competed in the Europa Conference League, reaching the group stages of the tournament. This is an interesting move for a player that were seen as one to watch over his period at Leicester.
There are a number of former Leicester players out there searching for a new opportunity somewhere. Liam McAlinney and Deniche Hill are two of those. Joe Wormleighton a third, currently being on a trial at Northampton.
Deniche Hill is very much part of future plans for the Bermuda national team, being back in the squad for their World Cup qualifiers in June. He was a starter in the two games vs. Cuba (2-1) and Cayman Islands (5-0), being positioned as a left back. There are still no concrete news about his next destination in club football.
