Rennes or Stade Rennais F.C if you like to use the full and correct name of the team Leicester will play in the last 16 of the Europa Conference League.

French football is mostly seen as a one man show with PSG flying the flag. Not to offense anyone but it’s a while since Lyon or Marseille did fly the flag and even though Lille won Ligue 1 last season they are not seen as a major club in Europe.

The away game vs. Randers was one set with expectations for Scandinavian fans for Leicester and of course Randers fans able to watch their club play Premier League opponents at home.

Brendan Rodgers fielded a team of players that he knew would fix a result that was ok to live with and also taking Leicester into the last 16 of the tournament.

More players absent as Brendan Rodgers again had to make changes. Jannik Vestergaard was given a chance from start. Marc Albrighton also playing from start with Ricardo Pereira and Luke Thomas absent.

Leicester were grand favourites in this game and to see anything else than dominance would have been a huge surprise, and they took command from start.
