Leicester did indeed win the FA Cup last season and ended 5th in the Premier League, but to say it’s over achieving is a kick in the teeth really, this is excactly what the owners had in their mind and that would be possible to do on repeat, the squad and the manager is good enough for that sort of record.

What happened in 2015/16 is probably a bit more difficult to copy but if you are to be in with a chance in the future you need a certain standard in place and you need to go by these key points without them you are lost and you will see that never happen.

Odds are dropping on this special candidate as new Leicester manager will add fuel to special Midland battle

Frank Lampard was sacked from his manager job at Chelsea on the 25th of January 2021, just four days earlier he had seen defeat 2-0 vs. Leicester at King Power Stadium and it was to be his last game, so far, as manager in Premier League football.

The start to that 2020/21 season with Chelsea was phenomenal, going top in Premier League and also leading their group in Champions League and as we did see leading to the club winning the tournament under their new manager Thomas Tuchel.

Ten managers in one year at Leicester hopefully this will not be the outfall when we will see the next change coming

Few might remember that Frank Burrows was manager of Leicester, taking charge together with Gerry Taggert for five games back in 2007. Burrows and Taggart were in charge before owner Milan Mandaric made the drastic decision to appoint Ian Holloway as his next man and by that having 7 set-up’s in one year including a total of ten men in charge in total over that special year and later in 2008 ending in a tragic relegation to tier three for the first time in the clubs history.
