Leicester address defense problem, interesting transfer rumor appear

Leicester City manager Claude Puel might be saying this and that, but he has surely by his team selection given everyone the idea that he is not yet sure who to play at right-back.

As Puel struggles to find his best player in the current squad, rumors appear in media linking Leicester City with a solid settled right back currently out of the first team picture at his club.

Leicester City are according to several media sources ready to bring in Nathaniel Clyne from Liverpool, contracted at Anfield until next summer and currently out of the first team picture under Jurgen Klopp.

Clyne (27) is a proven alternative, but a massive injury record over the last two seasons makes it difficult to get back in and a move away could be a possible option.

Leicester City looks certain to offload Danny Simpson in the transfer window and Claude Puel has also commented on the current situation of Daniel Amartey, telling media that the Ghana international is frustrated with the lack of first team chances in his two preferred positions, central defense or midfield.

Amartey, at the moment an experiment on right-back, had earlier in the summer been asking for a loan move, and German club Stuttgart were earlier mentioned as a possible destination for the former FC Copenhagen favorite.
