Breaking News, Leicester City, confirmed and settled, officially announced

Despite the ongoing saga about Harry Maguire and his supposed move to Manchester United grabbing all the headlines, a lot of activity is on going for both current and former Leicester City players.

Daniel Iversen, U.23 goalkeeper and Danish U.21 international will spend next season on loan at Rotherham United. He had a long spell out on loan last season as well, playing 42 league games for Oldham Athletic.

Released Premier League winner Danny Simpson got his trial at Celtic cut short as they are looking for other options. Simpson (32) is eager to continue his career at a certain level and we just have to wait and see were he will end up, a big guess is that he could seal a deal at League Championship level, waiting for a proper offer.

Former fox Michael Morrison left Birmingham City this summer after playing the last five seasons at St. Andrews, initially joining from Charlton Athletic on loan. Morrison has been doing his business at Championship level and have decided to join Reading on a two year deal. The Royals managed to avoid relegation from the 2nd tier, ending on the 20th place.

Anthony Knockaert will next season play for Fulham after laving Brighton & Hove Albion. Despite being a fans favourite at The Amex he never managed to be a regular in the first team after their Premier League return. He will probably find it easier to impress at Craven Cottage after agreeing a one year loan deal who could be converted to a permanent move if all parties are satisfied.

Leicester born Che Adams will next season play for Southampton and make his mark in Premier League. Adams (23) had a number of try outs with Leicester City but never managed to convince anyone at the academy that he was the right type. He had to gradually in “Jamie Vardy fashion”, find his way back, playing for clubs such as Oadby Town and Ilkeston, before getting his league chance with Sheffield United and later Birmingham City.

27 year old former fox Luke O’Neill will next season play for Wimbledon, after being freed by Gillingham. O’Neill left Leicester City in 2011 and joined Mansfield. He has represented other clubs such as Leyton Orient, Burnley and Southend United either on a permanent contract or short loan deals.
