Leicester City Women fell to the bottom of the table after the recent 1-2 home defeat to Aston Villa. Alisha Lehmann the goalscorer after 33 minutes. This season has been a struggle, with a lot of turbulence, shifting players and staff.
Getting a good team together is challenging. Recent seasons have shown some improvement. However, at the moment, it seems very difficult. Leicester are at the bottom with 9 points after 17 games. They are 3 points behind West Ham, who occupy the place above.
Looking at the list of recent games, it looks grim. Their last win was back in December, winning 1-0 vs. London City. Alesha Lehmann has scored one goal, no one else on the scoresheet. The goal before was an own goal by West Ham back in January.

Looking for positives it is only a win up to get in touch with West Ham, but that vital game played against them in January in real settled the situation. To bring in points against Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton looks very difficult. The opportunities will be against Brighton and London City. The next game is against The Seagulls at home, a win here and it might be possible to survive.
The problem at the moment is the recruitment. Many changes are being made trying to bring in quality players. However, these players are not really far from the level of players leaving the club.
