Summary:
It’s been a variety of different levels since Marti Cifuentes took over. This game away to Norwich was a must win for the manager. His movements so far has been unpredictable. His decision making as manager of this football club does not inspire confidence. You would not expect it to be the formula to follow to build a promotion package.

In this game Leicester struggled from start. Norwich spoiled their opportunities. Leicester managed to get into it with some sort of momentum after a while. The first half ended 0-0.

Goals from Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Jordan James made this possible. Two great goals, scored by two midfielders. Leicester had good ball possession, 66/34. This indicates that Leicester are far from having the correct momentum. They are still not playing the game needed to transform this possession into scoring opportunities. Norwich made it difficult for Leicester. They used their physical strength to try to bend it in their own direction.

SUMMARY:
Leicester starts the season with a well earned 2-1 home win over Sheffield Wednesday. A total domination over two halfs. Having the upper hand in the end. Winning this vital first game, just great to be there when it happened.

A slow and fatigue first half. Sheffield Wednesday doing the most out of the situation, taking an early lead, keeping it at half time. Leicester were quick out of the blocks in the second half. Skipp had been replaced with Winks. This made a difference. Winks creativity became a key in a game as Leicester became more aggressive and better powered.

Goals from Jannik Vestergaard and Wout Faes changed the day for Leicester fans. Two great goals, scored by central defenders. Leicester had immense ball possession 75/25. This shows the gap in quality between the two teams. Still Sheffield Wednesday made it difficult for Leicester with their low block defending and special movements. They tried to upset the home team.
