Leicester City faced an Everton side who had their heads right and came away with a 2-1 at King Power. Especially Brazilian duo Bernard and Richarlison gave Leicester enough trouble to upset a descent run of results lately.
A 2nd half goal from Iceland international Gulfi Sigurdsson made it possible for Everton to bring all points back to Merseyside.

The fact that Wes Morgan had to leave the field early in 2nd half made it difficult, despite a promising display by Leicester City during most periods of the game.
A day after Leicester’s defeat to Everton, Manchester City are playing Liverpool on Anfield, and a game looking like a 0-0 draw explodes into action when Leroy Sane is brought down by Virgil Van Dijk and a penalty is given.
Gabriel Jesus is the one chosen to take the penalty, but a message from Pep Guardiola changes that and Riyad Mahrez steps forward. He has missed five penalties in his last eight attempts so why he was the “chosen one” few understands.

Mahrez can’t convert and the ball goes straight up in the air, above the goal and into the stands, what a disgraceful penalty, badly taken and what could have been a great day for Man City bringing home their first win at Anfield under Guardiola ends in a 0-0 draw.
Not the best of weekends if you support Leicester City and have an eye for former players and how they are doing around in other clubs, this was not good at all.
