We all love that feeling of seeing new faces coming into the first team especially when they are local and gone all the steps in the ladder inside the clubs own academy structure. Kasey McAteer is the latest of those players as he made his debut against Newcastle.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Harvey Barnes and Luke Thomas are all players from the academy making the starting line-up for this game and they are all in the same category as Kasey McAteer.

The Leicester legend in his last game for the club and the unlikely episode and appearance, No. 3 Gary Lineker

One of the all time icons of this football club is Gary Lineker. Local born and as much as possible letting people know he is from Leicester and a massive supporter of the club, with him scoring 95 goals in 194 league appearances from 1979 to 1985. Gary Lineker played his final game for the club v. Luton in May 1985, the result, 0-4, down at Kenilworth Road on their plastic turf.

This was in deep contrast to the game the week before defeating Sunderland 2-0 and with Gary scoring both goals in what should be his last home game at Filbert Street.
