Peter Shilton is one of the most iconic goalkeepers to have played in the game. His presence in the top flight lasted for four decades and he played a total of 1005 league games durng his career.

On top of his league appearances we did see another massive record with 125 caps for England including three World Cup inclusions.

The Leicester legend in his last game for the club and the unlikely episode and appearance, No. 4 Allan Clarke

Allan Clarke played for Leicester in the 1969 FA Cup final, moving a few weeks after to Leeds for a record fee of £165.000. He was signed from Fulham just a year before for another record fee, £150.000. Clarke was voted man of the match at Wembley despite ending up with a losers medal in the end.

His last game though did not occur before the 17th of May in a 3-2 defeat to Manchester United. A strange day really with a close margin to staying up and just shortly after losing to the neighbour Manchester City.
