We predicted a few changes in the line-up as Enzo Maresca gave starts to Cesare Casadei and Kelechi Iheanacho, leaving out Jamie Vardy and Wilfred Ndidi. It upset the balance a bit, but again a brilliant start for Leicester, taking the lead after just 12 minutes play.

A well passed corner from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall found James Justin and his header was just one taken out of the learning book, lovely and controlled as it went in behind Sunderland’s goalkeeper, Anthony Patterson.

A positive start from Leicester as Enzo Maresca had the obvious line-up installed for the away game, keeping it as we would have thought, but would have liked to see Yunus from start instead of Matawu, but Enzo looks to have faith in the Sporting Lisbon youngster.

Leicester produced a number of chances and especially Mavididi impressed heavily in his wide position, as well as KDH having his engine running on super fuel, being all over and pushing the team with insperational runs.

We had a feeling that a changing line-up from Preston would happen, but still a bit surprised to see as many as six new players from start

Choudhury, Iheanacho, Souttar, Yunus, Casadei and Vestergaard were given starts as others were replaced.
