Brendan Rodgers made changes to his line-up from the game vs. Brighton. Patson Daka kept his place on top, playing alongside Barnes and Maddison. Wilfred Ndidi returned to midfield. Wout Faes made his debut. Timothy Castagne also returned to the starting eleven.

Danny Ward was the preferred goalkeeper despite his tragic start to his season. This became another nightmare day for the Wales international.

Brendan Rodgers changed both system and personel for the game vs. Brighton. Leicester came out in a 4-4-2 formation and giving starts to Daka and Iheanacho. The moves made looked to have worked wonders as Leicester were 1-0 up after just a minute play.

But this was just a lucky strike as the game in the end became a nightmare and an awful display from a Leicester side teared apart by Seagulls flying high.

A new experimental approach for Brendan Rodgers as he push Wilfred Ndidi back in defence and Bouba Soumare given a chance in a deep midfield position, giving Maddison a role out wide again.

Luke Thomas was also playing his first game of the season. The experiment looked like a good plan from start but over the full length it was again too little that happened to create a goal.
