A good end to the season and of course three points in this last game vs. Southampton could give Leicester an 8th position and with the team selection we could see that Brendan Rodgers was all on for that.

To have Jonny Evans and Wesley Fofana back in full action and being available and fully fresh makes everything look so much easier.

Kasper Schmeichel was back in the Leicester goal as explained by Brendan Rodgers who had given Danny Ward his debut in the previous match vs. Watford.

A new 3-5-2 formation was in place with Amartey, Fofana and Evans building up the formation and Castagne and Thomas being the flanks. Maddison was back in a midfield role alongside a low laying Mendy and the all runner KDH.

Watford 1, Leicester 5, positives and negatives, player ratings and match report, Premier League fixture

Danny Ward given his league debutant and the rest of the team looking solid as a unit with Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes up front and also pushing James Maddison up on the flank.

The start could have been better but over all and in every area Leicester just kept their momentum and it ended on a massive high as Leicester put five behind Roy Hodgson’s Watford.
